Pain in high heels originates from the hard horizontal surface of the shoe that is under the ball of the foot causing burning pain from pressure to the ball of the foot.
IN ADDITION pain in high heels originates from the vertical surfaces of the shoe that are the front and sides of the shoe that squash the toes and squeeze the sides of the forefoot. Pain can also originate from the vertical surface that is at the back of the heel causing blisters on the heel as it moves up and down.
Pain can be eliminated from horizontal surfaces of high heels with sufficient cushioning under the ball of the foot. The cushioning should be soft, springy and energy rebounding so it never flattens.
